Design and Build Quality
The design of Maruti Ignis is completely different and attractive. Its bold grille, projected headlamps and compact dimensions give it a distinct identity on the road. The build quality of the car is strong, although some plastic parts may look a bit cheap. The interior design is very much liked by the youth, which includes dual-tone color combination and ergonomic design.
Engine and Performance
Talking about the engine, the Ignis is powered by a 1.2 liter K-Series petrol engine that generates 82 bhp power and 113 Nm torque. According to ARAI testing, Ignis gives a mileage of 20.89 kmpl. In real world conditions, it gives a mileage of 16-18 kmpl in the city and 19-21 kmpl on the highway. Mileage may be slightly less in AMT variants.

Talking about the price, the Maruti Ignis is priced between ₹ 5.85 lakh to ₹ 8.26 lakh (ex-showroom). A total of 11 variants are available in it which include Sigma, Delta, Zeta and Alpha trim levels. All variants are available with a 1.2L petrol engine which can be chosen with manual or AMT transmission.
