The device will be an upgrade to the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro that debuted earlier this year. Although there is no official announcement from the company yet, the famous tipster Chat Station on the Chinese social media platform Weibo has shared some news related to it.
The tipster suggests that the upcoming Redmi smartphone could come with a 6.8-inch flat display. The battery is 8000 mAh. Although the tipster did not reveal the name of this smartphone yet, based on the comments on his post and earlier comparisons, it is believed that this phone can be the Redmi Turbo 5 Pro. The phone could be the successor to the Redmi K80 Ultra or the Turbo 4 Pro.
The previous phone had great features
The Redmi Turbo 4 Pro is powered by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC and packs a large 7550 mAh battery. Similarly, the recently launched Poco F7 in India and other international markets had almost the same hardware as the Turbo 4 Pro. Poco F8 and Redmi Turbo 5 Pro are expected to come with similar specifications.

The Poco F 7.5 G features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1280×2772 pixels, 3200 nits of peak brightness, and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device packs a 7550 mAh battery with support for 90 W fast charging and 22.5 W reverse charging. In terms of optics, the phone features a 50 MP primary camera with optical image stabilisation. There’s also an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 20 MP selfie camera on the front.
