Xiaomi has officially teased an upcoming open-ear product called Xiaomi Open Earbuds Pro. Such an announcement from the company has been received through its Weibo account. It states that this product “reveals a new dimension in open-ear sound quality.” Also with this, Xiaomi also informed that it will be launched in China on June 26 at 7 pm local time.

These earbuds are the first product in the industry to feature an open-style five-driver system. Xiaomi has partnered with Harman for audio tuning. It focuses on balanced sound output. Xiaomi has used skin-friendly liquid material in these earbuds. These earbuds have an ergonomic design for long-term use.
There have been many changes in the design of the Pro model compared to the base model launched last year. Last year’s variant featured a horizontal pill-shaped case with a glossy finish and minimal aesthetics. This model uses slim, curved over-ear hooks and focuses on providing a lifestyle look.
This model uses a square clamshell-style case with a matte soft-touch finish and a more functional design. This model is large; the ear hooks of these earbuds are thick and rubberised for better grip and stability in the ears.

According to the certification documents, the model number of this product is M2503E1, and it is officially called ‘Xiaomi OpenWear Stereo Pro’. It has received several certifications, including FCC, China’s MIIT and Bluetooth SIG. This model has a 788 mAh battery and 6 W fast charging support. This model supports Bluetooth Low Energy technology.
The base model launched globally in July 2024 featured OpenWear stereo with 10 mm drivers, AI noise cancellation, up to 38.5 hours of battery life and HyperOS integration. However, Xiaomi has not confirmed whether the Pro variant will launch upgrades beyond the driver configuration or whether it will be sold internationally.
